If there is one piece of outdoor furniture that gives a sense of comfort and relaxation while having a rustic feel, it's got to be The Adirondack Chair.
This classic design is widely recognized by it's wide armrests, curved slanted back and contoured seat, traces it's original design roots back to the Adirondack Mountain Range situated in Northeastern New York, during the early 1900s.
The design is simple, comfortable, and has a  distinctive style all it's own.

Here at Hillbilly Hollow Woodworks, we Handcraft each chair one at a time, using Beautiful Western Red Cedar, stainless steel hardware, and waterproof glue. Western Red Cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant and is an excellent wood choice for outdoor furniture. It has a characteristic fragrance that remains subtly aromatic and adds another dimension to it's universal appeal.

The photos of the Adirondack chairs displayed  are representative of the style and design. The Adirondack chair you order will have it's own unique characteristics.

You have the option to apply the finish of your choice to the furniture we build for you or let it weather naturally.
"Natural Weathering" is when wood furniture ages and over time it becomes a silvery-gray color.
A finish will help preserve and enhance a desired appearance to the wood.
We can apply a finish to your furniture for you at an extra cost. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
You may also occasionally notice cracks in the surface of the wood. This is a natural occurrence in wood furniture that is  the result of the wood drying out and typically won't affect the structural integrity of the piece.
